I am so pissed.

There’s a street festival happening this weekend in the neighborhood I live in. During the day it was a good time, lots of people, lots of vendors - overall a good street fair. Of course there was a lot of beers, drinks, and parties but whatever. It’s a Saturday, do what you want. But its now 11 o'clock at night and the fair is done for the day (ended at 6) and the parties are still going strong.

Well my boyfriend and I were taking our dog, Rocky, for a walk before it got too late. It was a fucking shit show.

We had to navigate Rocky through broken glass, crushed beer bottles, and a whole plethora of other things that could hurt him. We had to walk in the street with cars driving recklessly because the vendor’s tents were still on the sidewalk. There were drunk people running and screaming in the streets and beer pong being played on basically every street corner.

But what gets us the most mad is how absolutely careless and IDIOTIC some of these people are being. There was a young women with what I assume was her boyfriend standing on the sidewalk with their dog. The woman was drunk and smoking a cigarette and completely ignoring her dog. Chris and I walked into the street to avoid them and kept Rocky on a very short leash. As we were passing them, their dog ran at us, growled at Rocky and starting jumping on Rocky.

We got Rocky away from him. He seemed ok enough. We kept walking, a little annoyed at her ignoring her dog and allowing it to try and attack, but otherwise fine. And then we heard her yell after us..

“What the fuck?! You can’t just let your fucking dog charge others like that!!”

Uhm, excuse me?? Our 8 month old dog, who we put through obedience class and was praised as the best dog there, who has never done anything more than lick strangers charged your dog??? The dog that you weren’t paying attention to because your cigarette was more important??? Yeah, ok.

“Uh, that’s not what happened at all…your dog charged ours..”

“Your fucking dog charged mine you fat cunt.”

“Oh, thanks. Very mature.”

“I hope you get aids and die.”

ARE YOU FUCKING ME? You are the most selfish, reckless, and immature dog owner I have ever met. You should not be allowed to take care of dog. I feel legitimately bad for that dog, he does not deserve an owner as shitty as you. Dogs need attention and comfort. Not to be disregarded by a drunk girl on the sidewalk. And then to blame US for this??

I am fuming. I don’t think I’ve ever been this angry. Do not fuck with my dog and do not be so idiotic to ignore your dog and then blame others for your fucking mistake.

Sometimes it feels like there’s this hunk of my chest that I’m just missing.

I want to just stop. Take a break for a little while and not deal with anything.

Things have been really hard for me lately.
